As a Brit, I thought it was a great series, enough for me to attend a few of their races over the years.

Cleland started it at Brooklands. Soper ended it at Luffield.

Yes a great race. Didn't notice any touring cars though..

Yes. The Gareth Howell that did race in the BTCC during the 2000's would have been TWELVE in 1993!

The Supertouring Register is a good basis to find many Supertouring cars history.
Not 100% complete, but I find it a good base to find out who drove what when touring cars mattered.
