Ian Khan could have easily won 93 if he didn't get caught up in silly accidents, like with Portman at Brands and crashing on the warm up lap at Donington. Very capable driver as was Chris Goodwin. His 2 races in 93 showed his class.

Also doing some maths, Lee Brookes is the second most committed independent after Matt Neal. Champion 96, runner up 97, entered oulton 98, but engine blew, 99 back for half a season, 2000 on entry list. Sadly deal never came together.

Robb Gravett ta certain degree, even if he did have the advantage of being a former outright champion and works driver.
